The Day I Die

Have you ever had those moments where you wonder where and how it's all going to end? Or wonder what's the last thing you will ever see? How about the way you will fill as you go? Now don't get me wrong, I'm not this crazy person that just sits around thinking about death all the time, there's a reason for all this madness! I was sitting at work staring at my computer screen and all of a sudden an ad pops up on the screen that said "If it's the last thing you do before you die, come to fabulous Las Vegas Nevada!". And well that got me thinking, "Why on earth would I want Vegas to be the last place I see before I die!". Reason you say, do you really need one? Well here it is.........

Looks like the perfect place to bite the dust huh! I think not!

My dream house would be a house on the beach where there is nothing but white sand, clear water, and a silky blue sky filled with clouds, so light fluffy it looks as if they were made of cotton candy . And all three of these "elements" seem to run together as if they were made as one, seemingly endless to the human eye. A place secluded from busy people, street lights, and city signs. Nothing there but the one I love and would WANT to pass on with and God's most beautiful creation of all..... Nature! That's when I started looking. "What would be the perfect place where I would be content with passing on?" So, I typed into my Google search engine the most beautiful beaches in the world. And after a while of looking and finding nothing but tourist attractions, I finally came across one place I absolutely fell in love with and knew it was the place for me. It's an off the map, middle of nowhere, so small it makes Fiji look like Hawaii, little island called Tonga. It's everything I wanted in my dream place and more. It is the most gorgeous piece of land you will ever see (or not). God really took his time on this place. See for your self!

So there it is, the place I would like to spend my final hours and if I play my cards right maybe my final years.

Whats it all about?

Have you ever wondered what else was out there? The clear (see straight to the bottom) oceans, the coliseums in Rome, the coffee shops in Amsterdam, the mountains of New Zealand, the crowded streets of Tokyo Japan, all these places that everyone talks about but still have not been seen with your own eyes! I do. This blog entry was inspired by a conversation my boyfriend and I had the other day. He asked me if there was anywhere I could go for one of my first times out of Texas, because there are only a handful, where would it be? Of course my mind raced at the thought of anywhere, "all of these beautiful, intriguing places and I have to pick ONE!" And then of course he added in the fact that it had to be in the US. But still it got me thinking, "although I am still young, would I let my life slip away without venturing to all of these places I mentioned and more?". How could you possibly think you have lived a good long life when you haven't even made an effort to see how others manage to exist. How these "foreign" people's life styles are so different yet in a way the same. The way they raise their children, the way they cook, clean, shop, and just live their lives day in and day out, much like we all do, much like I do. But its time for a change, I'm tired of day in and day out. I want to see the world, feel the sand between my toes, the mountain snow on my face, the meadow breeze in my hair. Such big talk for such a little person, so for now I will do my day in and day out, but one day..... one day I will venture out and see the world!
